News of the Weird: Now That's A Sandtrap!

Some people think golf is a boring sport. Maybe they will change their mind when they find out that China just staged the first underwater golf game. But seeing as the game was underwater, the rules were changed a bit. The players, decked out in flippers, goggles and other scuba gear were told not to be concerned with how many times they had to hit the ball before it went in the hole, and were instead timed to see how long it would take them to get the golf ball in the hole. The winner clocked in at just over a minute. The big obstacle (besides it being underwater) was that the aquarium tank they played in (which was 50 feet deep), was filled with water creatures. Thankfully, there were no reports of any fish receiving injuries.
