Southern New Guinea, parts of western and northern Australia
DID YOU KNOW?

- It usually moves on all fours, but it is capable of running quickly on its hind legs if threatened.
- When it is frightened, the lizard will open its mouth and flare the folded “frill” around its neck.
-They usually eat insects, but they can also sometimes consume spiders, other lizards, and small mammals.
- Sometimes, they can grow to be as large as 9cm long
