Well… not quite. It will be a while before you’ll be hearing Mark Zuckerberg personally host a radio station (we assume), but this is the next best thing. Designer headphone brand Wicked Audio has just come out with WCKD Radio, a Facebook interface that allows artists of any kind – new, old, signed, unsigned – to upload their music to the page for you, the public, to like, share, or comment on any individual songs.

Along with songs, bands can post their band info, images, tour dates… basically the stuff they can post on their regular FB page, just with more people able to see it. But, it’s a little more than just the usual “social networking” stuff. Bands who get more than 200 “likes” will be sent 35 Wicked Audio headphones to give to their fans during shows, among other contests and giveaways.

But, the bottom line of the new user friendly Facebook radio database is to give the up and coming artists a shot. It also gives you a chance to listen in on some new music!
