Call us pleasantly surprised! Even if you're not a fan, you may still like Justin Bieber’s new album which has the artist stretching his musical muscles in a few interesting directions. Take some of the stronger tracks, like his second single, “Die in Your Arms,” which is a soulful number right in line with something the Jackson 5 might have done. In another nod to Michael Jackson, the closing track, “Maria," is a straight up copy of “Billie Jean.” It’s on these and other breezier, ballad-y tunes like “Be Alright” where Justin’s voice and talent really shine through.
Though the singer seems to get a little lost in between the production of the beats and the techno effects on dance numbers like “All Around the World” and “She Don’t Like the Lights,” there's still a lot to like here for Beliebers and non-Beliebers alike.
