With new talent emerging left, right and center, it’s hard to decide which new performers have what it takes to make it in the music industry. Veronica, a singer from Toronto, stands out in the sea of hopefuls with her positive, down to earth personality and pop-jazz sound. She’s headlined for Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert, has been featured in FAZE magazine and has had her music video aired on Family.
At only 16 years of age, Veronica has already signed to Universal Records and released her first single, “Incompatible,” which she says is about her sister and herself. They’re very different and may not always get along, but that doesn’t stop them from being good sisters to each other. This is the sort of message that Veronica’s songs send – that being unique and true to yourself is important.
Amid her new found fame, Veronica remains a regular teenaged girl. Her favourite mode of transportation is a Segway, she loves driving her dad’s boat and she drinks tea to calm pre-show excitement.
We expect great things from Veronica as she embarks on her journey to become a worldwide singing sensation! Check out her website, beingveronica.com, for updates.
