What will you be like in 20 years? Will you have your dream job? Will all your hair be intact? Will you still have the same interests? In 1992, a twelve-year-old boy wondered about these things, so he decided to make a video of himself asking his future self questions.
Twenty years later, he found the VCR tape (still remember those things?) and decided to make a response video by splicing current footage of himself with the old video to make it look like a real interview. The new video is hilarious! Check it out here:
It’s cool how he came up with answers that fit perfectly with the things he was saying and doing when he was 12. Someone who didn’t know that it was the same person would think that the video featured two different actors!
The video was posted on YouTube on July 5th. In just four days, it’s gone viral with over three million views. With so much success, will the video inspire a whole generation of people filming themselves only to make a conversation video 20 years from now? If you have access to a video camera, why not film yourself asking questions you’d want to answer in 20 years? It will be funny to look back and see how much you’ve changed!
