Come November, it will truly be the end of an era. BREAKING DAWN PART 2 will hit theatres, concluding the TWILIGHT movies and breaking the hearts of Twi-hards all across the globe. Before walking down the red carpet for the last time, the cast of BREAKING DAWN PART 2 hit up this year’s Comic-Con to say goodbye to the world of blood-sucking monsters and giant wolves.
Kristen Stewart talked about how excited she was to finally get to play vampire Bella. Human Bella is great, but she’s got nothing on the speed and strength of the new and improved Bella. Her first hunting scene was her favourite thing to film. Kristen described finishing TWILIGHT as “bittersweet” and revealed that she saw the movie four times and cried every time! We have a feeling that many more will follow in her footsteps by sobbing when the final credits start rolling.
Eleven-year-old Mackenzie Foy, who plays Renesmee, said that her favourite scene to film was riding the wolf version of Jacob and that she lost a tooth while doing it. All in the name of movies!
The cast joked about a TWILIGHT sequel. The series’ author, Stephanie Meyer, said that if she were to ever write another vampire book, it would be about Renesmee because Bella and Edward have already had their happy ending. Yes, please do write a sequel! Robert Pattinson is totally open to the idea while Kristen isn’t so sure, saying that the saga ends so well that it would be a shame to disturb it.
Aww, is anyone else really going to miss seeing the cast together? They just click so well! BREAKING DAWN PART 2 hits theatres on November 16th and while saying goodbye to a well-loved franchise will be devastating, we can all agree that TWILIGHT has brought us years of fandom, wolves, vampires and forbidden love!
