The chances of getting struck by lightning are one in a million and in this sort of situation, a low chance is exactly what you want! William Moseley, best known for this portrayal of Peter in the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA series, wasn’t so lucky. He and some crew members were struck by lightning on the set of his new movie, THE SILENT MOUNTAIN.
Don’t worry; the dashing actor was only hit on the arm so we’re happy to report that he’s okay! According to his Twitter account, he considers himself lucky to be alive and found the experience to be very traumatic. No surprise there – the lighting came right through the roof! They were filming in an old hut that dates back to World War I. Nine other crew members were also hit and, though he was injured, William helped care for them until the paramedics arrived.
Talk about taking on characteristics of your character! In his new movie, William plays a brave solider who must go off to fight in the Second World War without marrying his fiancé. The film is set to be released on February 3rd, 2013. Hopefully, the rest of the production will go off without any more freak accidents!
