It looks like we have another Mozart on our hands. Ethan Bortnick has been playing the piano since the age of three, when his parents caved in to his begging and enrolled him in piano lessons. He first taught himself to play on a toy keyboard, but since then he’s graduated to bigger and better things!
Ethan has become the world’s youngest solo musician to headline his own tour. That was two years ago. Now, at the age of eleven, Ethan can boast an impressive resume, having shared the stage with the likes of Elton John and Beyoncé. Yesterday, he received his Guinness World Records certificate.
This summer, he will be touring 22 cities across the US. The title of his original song, “It’s All About Music,” is also the name of his tour. That’s right; he’s composed his very own song before entering middle school! Some of the proceeds from the tour and song sales will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a charity that raises money to help kids in hospitals.
Check out Ethan playing various musical instruments and singing his song, “It’s All About Music.” Now that’s real talent!
