Step aside Sue Sylvester, there’s a new evil teacher in town! According to Jane Lynch, who plays the cheerleading coach, Rachel Berry’s new dance instructor can give everyone a run for their money in the meanness department!
As everyone knows, Rachel will be starting her first year at NYADA. A new school means new students and new teachers. One of said teachers will be played by Kate Hudson. The currently unnamed teacher will be training Rachel in dance and Jane Lynch said that she gives Rachel “a hard time," which can be just what the talented diva needs. Dance teachers have a reputation for being relentless and unafraid to be mean to their students if it guarantees that they’ll become good dancers. We’re interested to see how Kate Hudson will interpret this role!
There’s just over a month until GLEE returns to the television. The fourth season is expected to be very different from the previous seasons with half of each episode taking place in New York City and the other half taking place in Lima, Ohio. One thing’s for sure: fans are certainly glad that characters haven’t been written off the show just because they’ve graduated from McKinley. The Rachel-dance instructor showdown is one of many things to look forward to this season.
Season four of GLEE premieres on September 13, so mark your calendars!
