Today, Directioners woke up to the surprise news that the radio and video premiere of "Live While We're Young" would happen four days earlier than expected. The highly anticipated release of One Direction's first single from their second album, 'Take Me Home' was bumped up after a poor quality version of the video leaked online this morning.
After not wanting fans to hear the track as an illegal upload, the band acted quickly. Instead, they premiered the song on the radio at 12 p.m. ET and the music video on their official VEVO channel at 1 p.m. ET.
The song is fun, energetic and in line with One Direction's famous pop sound. This time, fans get a chance to see Zayn take the lead. Though fall is in the air, the video has an summery feel and shows the boys on a crazy camping trip by the lake.
If you haven't heard the song or watched the video yet, be sure to check it out here.
The single will be released digitally on October 1 and their new album TAKE ME HOME will follow on November 13.
