Steve Lopez, (Robert Downey Jr.) while writing a column for the Los Angeles Times, develops a close freindship with Nathaniel Ayers, (Jamie Foxx) a musical prodigy who becomes schizophrenic and homeless.
The Soloist is directed by Joe Wright (Pride and Prejudice, Atonement) and is set to be released on April 24.

I'm on the fence about what to think of this movie, for personal reasons. but I do like Robert Downy Jr and have heard that Jamie Foxx gives a good performance in this.

it's so nice to see Robert Downey Jr's career going so strong. I've always thought he was a good actor and it was a shame that it went downhill for so long. his fault I guess, but it's nice to see him doing well again.
