How could I forget Toy Story 3, Jonah Hex also sounds good. I'll also watch out for Clash of the Titans because I watched the 80s version in English class.

Alice in Wonderland (Burton and Depp together have yet to falter), Jonah Hex (amazing cast), Arrested Development (one of the best tv shows ever in movie form should be excellent) and Toy Story 3 top my list.

My High Priority list for 2010. Part 1

My high priority list for 2010 starts off in January with The Book of Eli. It has a great cast ( Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman) and I'm a big a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre. Its sure to be a great way to kick off the year.

Nothing real good in Febuary, but we got some great stuff coming in March. Alice in Wonderland is going to be amazing. You can never go wrong with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. We've seen some crazy stuff so far and its going to look great in 3D. Either way, I'm in.

Dreamworks Animation is currently trying to adapt a version of the 2003 childrens novel, How to Train your Dragon. We've only seen some concept art so far, so I can't judge.

Also, we have the remake of the 1981 film, Clash of the Titans. It has two amazing stars (Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson always deliver the goods) and most likely some epic action sequences. Should be great.

Not much in April except for the reboot of the popular Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. I'm not too sure about this but Jackie Earl Haley will be amazing as Freddy.

May is the month for movies. We have the Iron Man sequel which hopefully (and most likely will) turn out better than crappy first one (You will all hate me for that).

Robin Hood will be great; but sadly, Dreamworks isn't exactly ready to give up on the Shrek franchise. That's right, they're bring our favorite Ogre back with Shrek goes Fourth. Oh joy. dry.gif I'm not exactly thrilled about that.

We end off the month with Disney's adaption of the video game series, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Sex and the City 2 which I'm not interested in seeing any of them. We move into June with A remake of one my favorite films ever, The Karate Kid. (OH NOEZ!!) But better off, we got two amazing films in one weekend, Jonah Hex and Toy Story 3. Awesome. We also got a spin off from the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get him to the Greek. We then end off the month with The Twilight Saga's Eclipse.

End of Part 1.

I'm sorry, but I just can't see anyone else but Robert Englund being Freddy Krueger. to me, that's as bad as the whole *they're gonna recast the voice actors in Futurama* deal. (thankfully, the Futurama thing has been fixed). I'm sure Englund wasn't busy with anything career-wise (look at his wiki page), so why not ask him back? yeah, some would say then that might as well be just another Nightmare on Elm Street sequel, but this is a remake, right? which makes me wonder - why at all? (money for the people who make the movie and are too lazy to come up with original ideas of course!!!!!) Rob Zombie totally screwed up the Hallloween story with his "remake" or "reimagining" or whathaveyou. hopefully this won't be quite as bad when it comes to the story. but no Englund... hrmmmm... I may not watch horror movies like I used to (down from about 365+ a year to like.... a total of 5 a year) but darn, you gotta stay true to the classics.

rant over.

anyway, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story 3, Shrek (I don't care, I like Shrek even though the third one was not nearly as good as the first two. yep, I like the second one as much as the first. maybe because of Puss in Boots. he's awesome).

Arrested Development
Alice in wonderland
Harry Potter
Nowhere Boy!!!!!!!!! (Released late 2009 in the UK but I'm guessing 2010 for Canada if it gets released here)

Those should all be amazing. I'm also looking forward to the Percy Jackson movie but I don't expect much from it.

In addition to my list, I'd also like to see Let Me In which is the American remake of Let the Right One In (One of the best movies ever!). Sadly, it probably won't live up to the original which was a masterpiece but I'll still be seeing it.

I myself am a very big fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, I'm just hoping the movie dosen't ruin it. sad.gif M Night Shaymalan has done some good in the past (The Sixth Sense was amazing, The Happening was a guilty pleasure.) not sure if he's cut out for this. Just seems way out of his league.

Burton's Alice in Wonderland looks amazing. And I also hear that he's doing a remake of 1984 which will probably be freaky. Both set to be released to theatres in 2010.
